Looks like the only singing around this tree… was from flying bullets. We arrived at the office one morning to find our Christmas tree in Timber-mode. Somebody put a blunt axe to it’s trunk and whacked it, cold blooded killing. Then again it could be an overdose of needles too. We guess it was well over it’s “peak” anyway. The crime scene was taped-off and we have Horatio on the case, obligatory cheesy quotes and all. Send us your best Horatio Christmas Scene Investigation quote and win a super deluxe amphion sticker pack.
Like Whoa! Time to get of your butts, this so-called crisis thing is OHWFICIALLY over and done for… Not to mention completely outta vogue. In addition to the INTERACTIVE MARKETEER opening we posted last week, amphion has two extra fantastic new positions on offer. Get a kick out of seeing your designs going al clickety-click? Check out the SENIOR INTERACTIVE DESIGNER job description. Rather fancy yourself the kind that loves it when a plan comes together? Try the INTERNET PRODUCER position on for size.
In what is an European exclusive without precedent amphion brings together the three titular Coke musketeers in one Open Happiness TV-spot for all. People either love this one, or haven’t seen it yet!
It’s been a while. Are you still reading this? Some of you might think we’ve sold the furniture and skipped to the Cayman’s. But as the great Socrates once said “A house painter’s house is always the one with the flaking paint” (Don’t quote him on it, we’re just making this up) and amphion most definitely finds itself wham bam smack in the middle of that allegoric predicament. It’s not like we are sitting around the office picking our noses and procrastinating the updating of this here blog for the sake of it. We been busy being busy!
Now we could seize this moment to go all philosophical and treat y’all with a new-age life lesson about how always being busy is an ailment of our times and generally just causes lots of stress. Instead we’ll leave you with a list of really great projects we are working on, and/or have yet to be slipped into the ‘folio. Here goes: Discovery Channel, Call of Duty, Unibet, I Love Techno, several projects for Coca-Cola, Coke light, Coke zero, Fanta, Royco Minute Soup, Aïki, Telenet, Van Hie, GoudenGids, Truvo, the list keeps on going…
Full updates soon. (saying it like we really mean it, might be later though)

DTP/PROJECT MANAGER
“PDF” is your middle name. Next to managing one of our most important clients you will be coordinating the publishing work flow of the studio. In other words: You check the designs roughs for leaks, patch them up and roll them out to the printers. You put the finishing touches to our work, and your knowledge will be an important ingredient to the Amphion formula.

You can put together a nifty PowerPoint presentation with the swiftness of a fuel injection engine, and sit out meetings with the endurance of a Diesel. Check out all the info here and drop us a line if you are in for it!
Wendy and Karl from our Brussels team scooped up first place at the Young Creatives competition. In true David & Goliath steez our crew bested creative teams from Belgium’s biggest advertising agencies. Amphion who? Booyaka! First round knock-out. Congratulations guys, we’re proud! Check out their entry here.
With all the buzz surrounding the Netlog day, we might as well take a sec to drop a line about us designing the buttons, signs, bags, banners and other visual branding for this event. Yes, that big red cushion you had a hard time getting out of after sipping on too much of that bubbly was our idea. Guilty as charged!
Find some pics of the event here. Congratulations to Netlog, FTW!
As you might well know the area our offices are located in is thé hub for all things arty happening in Antwerp, littered with galleries and funky peeps. A few weeks ago Tim Van Laere gallery premiered Strange New Feelings, a new art show by Ed Templeton. The opening had the joint seriously packed, with skaters from all over town coming to greet their idol.
But did you know Ed put the finishing touches to the centerpiece of his new work in a makeshift art-studio right below the amphion offices? Damn right, be jealous! For about the week we had Beautiful Losers royalty using our sinks to clean his brushes, and our fridge to store his (vegan) lunchbox. Plus we got to hang out with him and Deanna. Ed even fixed us a Toy Machine gift pack. Thanks Ed, you’re welcome anytime!
