The new amphion site: It’s here! Yessss. Some of y’all might have already noticed that our brand-new site has been soft-launched a few weeks ago. Well, from here on it’s OFFICIAL: our new baby is out there. Surf over to www.amphion.be quick and find out all kinds of stuff about us like where we’ve been, what we’ve done and what we’re doing and/or going to be doing. While we were plotting it’s official launch in all secrecy, word on our new site was strategically leaked to the public and spread like wildfire. Here’s some of the international reactions we’ve garnered, “Belgique, douze points!”.

Whether in tuxedo at the bar, topless on the dancefloor or behind your monitor surfing their site: you’re always a VIP at La Rocca. Continuing their tradition of being Famous & Original, amphion developed a brand new site for La Rocca, still one of the best known clubs in Belgium since 1988. This was no regular update, no siree! Built from skratch and custom fitted with a complete overhaul in visual style www.larocca.be takes the internet prescence of the notorious Nightlife Theatre to new heights. Next to a detailed Party agenda, info on the DJ’s and all the other regulars, the site offers an extensive collection of party pictures from which you can send your favorite nightlife snapshots to all your friends. This picture gallery will only get bigger and bigger as the La Rocca team regularly updates it with captivating images from the latest parties… you might even spot yourself between all the other attractive nightwalkers?

Here’s a quick rundown of projects that have kept us happy the last couple of weeks.

Amphion designed the CD booklet for the new Sexteto Tanguedia album Sará verso il mattino.

We also cooked up an update of I love techno previewing the upcoming Summer Edition at Werchter, and providing all info on the Body 2 Body series of electro parties in an separate electrifying mini-site.

In the category “small jobs” amphion also updated the site of Sofie Coreynen, a sassy young freelance photographer with some really nice work (which you should definitely check out). In the meanwhile, with the help of this back-office tool we’ve provided for them, our friends Jason & Vanessa updated another kind of blue from somewhere along the far reaches of India. Check out lots of beautiful snapshots of their ongoing journey (which are sadly, a tad bit heavily compressed to Indian internet connection standards).

While we are not exactly re-enacting the Battle of The Bulge, amphion has geared up for it’s banging end of year offensive. Judge for yourself and test your reflexes on the annual tradition we have christened ‘Ye Olde Amphion Christmasse Game’. Go and play it now!

Speaking of Christ J.; it’s the man’s birthday on the 25th, and we’ve been sending out presents to all four corners of this cutesy little country. Now all we have to do is wait for Three Wise Men (or Women, or Genderless People) to bring us gold, incense and mirre. Any legal tender, for that matter.
