Lu Waffle:
when opposites attract

Challenge: We Belgians love our waffles and our chocolate. Imagine the best of both melting together into a delicious and unique Belgian biscuit? LU asked us to launch their first soft LU Waffle, topped with intense Côte d’Or chocolate. We just couldn’t resist!


Idea: By showing that despite our differences we sometimes have in Belgium, we are stronger and better together. The campaign features those opposites in a strong online and offline translation. Watch the result below!

The video features a girl and her dad, seemingly different and in a different setting yet they are coming together in a surprising manner… Their love is meant to be.

The key visual is built up with a striking split screen effect, emphasising the two Belgian brands each with their own character. The visual identity is translated through all point of sale assets and online in order to create consistency.
